Other Facilities:

Ramps : Ramps are made to facilitate the visitors on the wheel chair. And wheel chairs are available on request.

Audio Visual Hall:  To screening the documentary, films and other presentation a small Audio/Visual hall with capacity of around 100 audience is in the Museum building

Conference Hall : 120 – 150 sitting capacity conference hall is available on rent.

Library : A small library with a collection more than 1000 books related to culture, flora/fauna, mountaineering, geology and glaciology of famous author and the various journals of the world could be used by the students and scholars.

Security : 16 Channel CCTV cameras, Smoke detectors, Sensor Alarm System, Fire extinguisher equipments has been installed for the security of the Museum and 13 security guards are employed for that purpose.




Outdoor Facilities:

Craft Village : The thatched huts on the south-eastern side of the Museum building, offers a view of the typical Nepali mountain village. It acts as a living museum, where one can see people at work. In this village local or foreign visitor would find equally interesting and homely village atmosphere with all originality and tradition. It would have all the indigenous crafts, culture, works and activities of social and ceremonial.

Restaurant : The restaurant in the same craft village serves all kind of foods including typical Nepali delicacies.
Souvenir Shop : It offers typical handicrafts of mountain people of Nepal and also including the produce of the same craft village.

Landscape : Landscape of the Museum premises offers one of the best open view points of mountains in Pokhara.

Children Park : Museum has proposed to build children recreation park in the near future.

Mt. Manaslu Model : The climbable 31 feet high model of Mt. Manaslu just out side of the museum building is another attraction for the visitors. This is very popular among the young students.

Thatched Shed : Beautiful thatched huts are built in appropriate locations of the Museum premise where visitors can take a rest and shelter themselves from rain, heat and hailstones.

Parking Area : Huge parking area for public and reasonable parking area for VIPs are available.

Restrooms : Restrooms for ladies and gents in suitable places are made available.

Various types of Trees, Plants and Birds can be seen in Museum Premises
